Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Market Update

Asparagus supplies remain extremely limited through August, especially in larger sizes. Current availability compared to normal levels: Standard ~35%, Large ~30%, XL/Jumbo under 10% or unavailable. Yields are skewing toward smaller sizes. Peruvian volume is down due to cooler weather and the southern region not yet in production, while Mexican supply is reduced from seasonal and regional transitions.

Outlook:

Larger sizes will remain tight for the next 2–3 weeks.
Shippers will closely manage volume and may need to substitute with Standard size.
