Dear Ole Tyme Customers:
The recent freeze in Florida has sharply reduced regional crop volume and quality, creating a demand‑exceeds‑supply situation. Growing conditions remain challenging, and meaningful improvement is not expected until mid‑April, when new crop becomes available.
Weather‑related issues are also impacting corn production in California, Arizona, and Mexico, where adverse conditions and seed‑related challenges have reduced yields. Recovery in these regions is not anticipated until early April with the arrival of new crop.
Regional Supply Outlook
- Florida: Bi‑Color, White, and Yellow corn are all significantly impacted.
- West Coast (CA/AZ): Bi‑Color and White corn remain limited; Yellow corn is extremely limited.
We will continue to monitor growing conditions closely and share updates as new information becomes available.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.
Thanks,
Ole Tyme Produce
