Commodity Supply Update

Heavy rainfall in Salinas this week - ranging from 0.75” to 1.50” - has created muddy field conditions, limiting harvest activity and tightening supply across multiple commodities. Additional rain is expected, and insect pressure continues to impact quality and yields.

Expect Prorates or Strict Averages On:

Broccoli, Broccolini, Cauliflower, Green Leaf, Red Leaf, Lettuce, VA Lettuce, Romaine, VA Romaine, Artichokes, Boston/Butter, Fennel, Cabbage, Celery, Green Onions

Extreme Trigger Items

Weather has escalated from rain to hail, further stressing crops. Growers are doing their best to manage conditions, but quality and availability will be affected. Please maintain tight inventories and rotate product quickly.
