Dear Ole Tyme Customers:
Favorable weather in Idaho and Washington is setting up a strong start for the 2025–2026 potato crop. Storage supplies from last season are nearly depleted, and new crop harvests are beginning in early August. Advanced ordering is strongly recommended—especially for larger sizes, which remain in tight supply.
Regional Highlights:
Idaho:
- New crop Norkotahs begin early August; Burbanks later in the month
- Storage crop expected to last through mid-to-late August
- Large sizes (40–70 ct) are extremely limited; smaller sizes are more available
Washington:
- New crop harvesting started 7/21; now shipping
- Storage crop is nearly finished
- Current sizing leans small (90–120 ct)
Colorado & Wisconsin:
- Storage supplies expected to wrap up mid-to-late August
- New crop starts early to mid-August, also leaning toward smaller sizes
