Dear Ole Tyme Customers:
Crop & Supply Update
- Idaho & Washington weather has been favorable, supporting a strong upcoming crop.
- Old crop storage supplies are nearly depleted.
- New crop potatoes are starting to roll in, but availability is limited, especially for larger sizes (40–70 ct).
Regional Highlights
- Idaho: Norkotahs are starting; Burbanks expected later this month.
- Washington: New crop available, but skewing toward smaller sizes (90–120 ct).
- Colorado/Wisconsin: Storage supplies wrapping up; new crop available with smaller profiles.
Market Conditions
- The market remains firm, with tight supply on larger sizes.
- Expect price increases, especially on #2 potatoes.
- Quality is generally good, though some storage lots may show minor imperfections.
What You Can Do
- Plan ahead: Advanced ordering is recommended, especially if you need larger sizes.
- Stay flexible: Smaller sizes are more readily available and may offer better value.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.
