Yuma Transition

Yuma Transition

Wed, Oct 1st, 2025

Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

We’re heading into a challenging transition to Yuma this season. Last week’s rain and humidity have impacted crops in both the Salinas and Yuma valleys. As Salinas winds down, expect limited shelf life on remaining product - please plan orders accordingly.

Some areas of Yuma received 4-5 inches of rain, with certain fields experiencing complete crop loss. While it’s too early to know the full impact, early season yields may be compromised. The transition will be here quickly, and as always, weather remains the biggest variable.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.

Thanks,
