Limes

Wed, March 4th, 2026

Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

The lime market remains very tight, with Mexican costs climbing rapidly. Limited yields from the new crop, combined with freeze-related fruit loss in January, are keeping overall supply constrained. Crossings through McAllen are light while offshore fruit is adequate.

  • Mexico: Cold seasonal temperatures and prior extreme freezes have reduced harvest volumes, tightening availability and sustaining strong pricing
  • Offshore: Supplemental supplies from Peru, Honduran, and Colombia are helping but remain lighter than usual, unable to offset Mexican shortfalls
  • Expectations: Expect volatile markets for March into early April.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Sales Representative.

Thanks,
