Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

The blueberry market is experiencing a severe imbalance, with demand significantly outpacing supply. Recent drops in availability coincide with the end of the domestic season, and delays in imports from Peru and Central Mexico are expected to worsen the situation.

Expectations:

Anticipate critically low supply levels for the next 4-5 weeks until substantial shipments arrive from Peru and Central Mexico.
Expect significantly higher market prices and prorations during this period.
Our grower partners will do their best to maintain service levels, but overall availability will still be significantly impacted.
We kindly ask for flexibility with loading dates to help fulfill orders amid these supply interruptions.
