Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

UPDATE: Smaller Melons will be limited from California and Arizona until the product has transitioned to the Central Valley of California. The higher temperatures in Yuma are optimum for growing Melons and result in improved quality and color.

Specialty and mixed variety melons are available in the desert or transferred to Parlier CA.

Expectations:

Decreased supplies of smaller Honeydew 8s
Suppliers will be watching #s to get through this shortage of smaller products.
Suppliers may need to sub into outside labels and sizes (Honeydew 5 and 6) to fulfill orders.
Market rates may not be available until the day of loading.
