Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Honeydew supplies are projected to remain in a demand‑exceeds‑supply position in the short term due to ongoing production challenges across key growing regions.

Key Market Drivers

Offshore Production: Overall offshore honeydew volume is limited as wet, cooler weather continues to hinder growth. Additionally, Downy Mildew pressure is impacting offshore fields, further reducing yields.
Sizing Flexibility: Shippers may require flexibility on sizing at the time of loading due to inconsistent field sizes.
Market Dews: These may be sold only in conjunction with market cantaloupes.
Mexico: Mexican honeydews are being sold at market price on a FCFS (first‑come, first‑served) basis.

Expect tight availability through mid‑March.
