Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

California Navel Oranges

  • Markets are rising as the season moves past peak; expected to wrap by June.
  • Smaller fruit remains limited for the remainder of the season.
  • Suppliers are managing field projections to fulfill contracts and delay transition to Valencias, aiming to extend supply into Fall.
  • Quality is strong; Brix around 13.
  • Valencia season starts early June.

Lemons

  • Markets are strengthening; recent rains have helped size increase.
  • San Joaquin Valley (District 1) is the main source; Ventura County/ Oxnard (District 2) providing minimal volume until June.
  • 140ct and smaller will stay tight until more volume comes in.

Thanks,
