Dear Ole Tyme Produce Customers:

The Central California Melon program, known as Westside Deal, will conclude within the next week or two. Suppliers will transition products to Brawley/Yuma/Nogales until mid-November.

Expectations:

The cantaloupe market will be volatile, with daily price changes.
Honeydews:
- Domestic honeydews are available in Central California and will soon be available in Brawley/Yuma.
- Mexican honeydews will be available in Nogales, AZ, with daily price fluctuations. Adherence to loading dates is essential.
Missed orders may incur updated prices.
Watermelon supplies are currently limited, but new shipments are expected, including Mexican watermelons from Nogales.
There’s an opportunity to fill Nogales melon trucks with zucchini, yellow squash, and cucumbers.
