Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Valencia oranges are currently peaking in 88ct sizes, while 113ct and 138ct remain extremely limited due to strong school demand. Expect suppliers to begin substituting larger sizes to fulfill orders.

Market prices for 88ct are rising as smaller sizes become scarce.
Lead time is critical—please place orders 3–4 days in advance to ensure availability.
Coloring delays are occurring due to warmer weather, with 24–48 hours of gas time needed to enhance fruit appearance.
Quality is fair, with choice-grade fruit dominating the crop—typical for the Valencia season.
Brix levels are around 13, and the fruit is tasting excellent.
The domestic Navel season is expected to begin late October—updates to follow.
