Dear Ole Tyme Customers:

Strawberries: Market Remains Critically Tight

Strawberries continue to face a demand-exceeds-supply situation. Over the next three weeks, open market orders will be extremely difficult to fulfill. Expect reduced fill rates, order cancellations, and shipment delays through the end of the month.

Shippers are prioritizing contractual and regular business only.
Quality remains inconsistent due to recent rain and high humidity, leading to elevated cull rates.
Yields are significantly low, and availability is extremely limited.
Relief is not expected until Central Mexico production ramps up in mid-November.
Market pricing remains elevated.
